For Het Amsterdamse Terrassen Festival, we captured the vibrant energy of their seasonal events across summer, spring, and winter editions. Attending each weekend, we documented how visitors connected with the festival atmosphere, enjoying music, food, and drinks in open-air settings.
THE BRIEF.
Het Amsterdamse Terrassen Festival needed a single film that could carry the identity of three completely different seasonal editions. The challenge was finding a visual language consistent enough to feel like one brand, yet flexible enough to reflect the distinct mood of summer, spring, and winter. No two editions felt the same, and the film had to show that.
Over the course of each weekend, we immersed ourselves in the festival, moving through terraces, stages, and gathering areas to capture genuine interactions. We focused on natural behaviors and spontaneous moments, blending candid footage with purposeful framing. Each shot reflects the warmth, rhythm, and communal energy of the festival, giving a true sense of the seasonal experience.
